Gifted thespian, she is working in the world of professional acting since the past 27. Her first appearance on stage in the production The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) Off-Broadway. As a character in The Perfect Tribute, she was given her first TV appearance one year later. When she was a supporting character in Basic Instinct, her career took off. It was in The Firm however that she got the role of woman leading the film for just the first time. She was cast in the film alongside famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. She worked in the 90s with a number of top actors from Hollywood, like Gwyneth Paltrow and Hugh Grant. Recenty, she played Dr Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
