Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actor and producer. She is most famous for the role of CBS the drama, The Mentalist's agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti is a native of Utah who has always dreamed of performing. At the age of four, young, she began to dance. Love and Happiness, a 1995 film, was her debut on the big screen. Her first role on TV was in the role of a CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Guest Star. Righetti began modeling at the age of fourteen. Four years later she moved from New York to Los Angeles and continued to play small but significant roles until she got the chance to be cast as the character Hailey Nichol in Foxs teen drama The O.C.. Righetti was also a key character in the 2009 slasher film Friday 13th, the action film Captain America: The First Avenger Foxs soap-opera North Shore and the drama series Reunion. In The Mentalist she played Grace Van Pelt between 2007 and 2015. She received praise from critics for her performance. Righetti was recently cast as Madeline Kenner by USA Networks on the sci-fi television series Colony.
